Direct Support Professionals
Make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. We are looking for caring, compassionate people who will provide direct support and care to our residents and program participants. Direct Support Professionals are responsible for the personal care, hygiene, physical care and welfare of each individual, as well as to ensure a healthy environment for the individuals while compensation/benefits package, and opportunities for growth.
Direct Support Supervisor
An experienced supervisor is needed to direct and train DSP staff at a beautiful new group home in Mohegan Lake. Responsibilities include ensuring delivery of the Individual Program Plan, training, and monitoring the quality of care given to the individuals. HS Diploma/GED and valid driver’s license required. Associates degree & previous supervisory experience preferred. Experience with person-centered planning a plus!
Registered Nurse
We currently have several openings for dedicated nurses to ensure that health and nursing quality standards are maintained for individuals with developmental disabilities. This includes providing direction to the direct support staff, performing direct nursing care, and coordinating outside medical services. Candidates must have a current New York State Registered Nurse license, and be able to communicate effectively in English (both verbally and written). 1-2 years experience working with the developmentally disabled population is preferred but not necessary.
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (Full Time and Part Time)
Richmond is seeking COTA to improve the lives of our individuals. Responsibilities include assessing their daily living skills, consulting with Occupational Therapist to create treatment plan & help select activities that meet the needs of our clients. 2 year degree (AA) from accredited school for COTA’s and NY COTA license required. 1year experience working with people with Developmental Disabiltites preferred.
Occupational Therapist (Full Time and Part Time)
Richmond is seeking an Ocupational Therapist to enhance the lives of individuals with Developmental Disabiltites. Responsible for implementing high quality occupational therapy services to the residents. BA in Occupational Therapist, NYS License and 2 years of clinical experience required. MA in Ocupational Therapist preferred.
Physical Therapist (Part Time and Full Time)
We currently have immediate openings in Yonkers for licensed Physical Therapists to provide services for people who live in our residences. Masters Degree & Physical Therapy license required. Previous DD experience preferred; NYS license required.
Behavioral Specialist
We currently have an exciting opening for a Behavioral Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. Ideal candidate will have Masters Degree in Psychology or related field with demonstrated skill in the areas of developmental and functional assessment as well as in treatment planning to address challenging behaviors. Candidate will also be responsible for advocacy, training of staff on intervention plans to improve adaptive functioning, and actively fostering a culture of excellence in the delivery of person-centered supports and services throughout the organization. Must work flexible hours.
Nurse Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a nurse to function as administrator of a floor in our residential facility in Yonkers. Responsibilities will include overseeing nursing & direct support services and ensuring efficient administrative & clinical operations. BSN with previous management experience and ability to communitcate effectively in writing required. MSN preferred. Proficiency with MS Office & the Internet also required.
