Board Members

  • Nick Spano, Chairman

    Nick Spano is President of Empire Strategic Planning, an Albany-based government relations firm. He was one of Westchester’s longest-serving and most senior State Legislators, serving as Assemblyman and then State Senator. During that time he earned a record as a champion of people with developmental disabilities, a cause that he continues to lead today. 

    Nick comes from a family with a tradition of public service, his father Leonard Spano having served as a County Legislator and County Clerk, and his brother Michael currently in his second term as Mayor of the City of Yonkers.

  • Dr. Eugene Buccini, Vice Chairman

    Dr. Eugene Buccini is a professor of management at the Ancell School of Business and the principal of Buccini Associates Inc., an executive coaching and leadership development consulting firm. He previously held positions as the Dean of the Ancell School of Business and the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, Connecticut. He specializes in the health and not-for-profit industry. His education background includes a Ph.D. from New York University, an MBA from Pace University, as well as certificates from Harvard University and Cornell University.

  • Warren Rosenberg

    Dr. Warren Rosenberg currently serves as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at The College of Westchester in White Plains, NY. He earned his PhD. in 1981 from New York University and has published his research on hypertension and kidney disease. Dr. Rosenberg has served on the Boards and as president of the Westchester Photographic Society and the Metropolitan Association of College and University Biologists. He has also served on the Boards of Chappaqua's Birchwood Swim and Tennis Club and the Briarcliff Nursery School.

    In his spare time, Warren is an accomplished photographer and operates a sports photography business, the New York Sports Photo Group.

     

  • Pamela Dingee

    Pamela has been an advocate for the disabled for over 28 years and currently serves on the Mayor of Yonkers Advisory Board for the disabled.

  • Alan Reid

    A member of Richmond's Board for over 20 years, Alan is the owner of The Reid Insurance Agency, Inc. He enjoys spending time with his family including his parents, his two married daughters, and grandsons, Jaren and Chase. 

  • Susan Goldman

    Susan has been on the Board since 2001, ever since her daughter became a resident at Richmond. She currently works as a Kindergarten teacher.

  • Ravi Sarma

    Ravi is a member of both the Richmond Board of Directors and the Foundation Board. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he earned Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. After MIT, Ravi joined a quantitative financial trading firm, Tower Research Capital, where he has worked for the last 15 years as a portfolio manager and partner.  Ravi's brother, Shankar, is a longtime Richmond resident.

  • Pauline M. Galvin, Esq.

    Pauline has operated her own private practice law firm since 1992. From 2007 to 2011, she served as counsel to Assemblyman Nick Spano in the New York State Assembly and, in 2012, became the Yonkers Civil Service Commissioner. 

  • The Honorable Robert A. Spolzino

    Robert is an Executive Partner at Abrams Fensterman, LLP and has been an attorney for 35 years. He served as Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, including five years as a Justice of the Appellate Division, the state’s intermediate appellate court. Outside of his law firm practice, Robert has taught environmental law as an adjunct professor and lectures regularly to bar associations and industry groups. He is a member of the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board and the Executive Committee of the Municipal Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Robert serves on the boards of trustees of Northern Westchester Hospital, the Northwell Health System, and Richmond Community Services.

  • Akeem Jamal

    Akeem currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Mayor in the City of Yonkers. He brings a proven track record of robust and creative ideas to Richmond utilizing his skills and expertise in communications.
